Finding myself: Part 1

Yesterday, I was given the opportunity to attend The Learning Manager 3-day workshop by the University of Strathclyde as part of their MBA programme, although not as a student, but more as an informal participant/helper to the guest trainer, Mr Lim Eng Chuan.

Today, as I am writing this, was the second day of the workshop.

The very first thing that strikes me was the self awareness part, which I have been thinking about a lot lately. So this is the very first thing (well maybe second – as the first should be to read more, which I started a little earlier, details will be in my next post) that I would like to change: to start writing more often, making use of this space I have.

One of my weaknesses is difficulty to trust others. So I am hoping, by writing more about myself here (or about anything else for that matter), I can begin to trust more and communicate better. Baby steps though.

Resolutions usually begin with a new year, but another change that I am making, is to not procrastinate anymore. So, I am bringing new year to me, and that new year is today!

Cheers!

…to be continued in the next part…
